Rivers End Californias Latest Water War 2021

RIVER'S END examines the worldwide water crisis through the lens of California. It illustrates how the water politics that led to Los Angeles' emptying of the Owens Valley, immortalized in the film CHINATOWN, continue to this day in efforts to extract ever more water from Northern California's San Francisco Bay estuary. Except this time, it's industrial agribusiness and its powerful corporate investors that are grabbing the water. RIVER'S END encourages people to understand more about where their water originates from so that we can protect our rivers, ecosystems, and communities that rely on them.
